Kaju katri or Fish??
Everyone brings in some food stuff and puts it up as a biting for others at my workplace. As Diwali is approaching I took a packet of Kaju roll my parents had send from India….
Well I know it would not be very much welcomed but to my surprise.. people first thought it was Fish……………
Secondaly there was silver foiling around the Kaju roll and it also had saffron in it… So these guys ask me if they had to remove the silver foil or not…
I had a difficult time explaining them , that it was an edible silver foil…….
The most hillirous part….
Table manners to inke khoon me hoti hai.. so these guys got a fork and knife to cut the sweet and eat it… That was heights…
At this point I felt I should have got something spicy for them instead of such delicious sweets!!!!!

during the training period here at FactSet, the company took us for lunch every Wednesday. Once we had gone to an Indian Restaurant (not that great a place).
It was a buffet (normal in most Indian Reswtaurants). The amrus liked the Chicken Tandoori and Palak Paneer stuff. But when it came to rice and kali-dal, they had no idea how to eat that. Most were eating plain rice. Only a fet of them mixed rice with some bhaji. I was the only one having rice w/ dal. The way hey were eating dosa (with fork & knife) and the rest o the Indian delicacies, I found odd to be eating most of the stuff with hand :)
But, kaju roll w/ knife & fork is ridiculous.
